Trevon Bryant shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi Trevon, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
I’m being called to trust myself more publicly. For a long time, my confidence lived internally in my taste, intuition, and standards, but I hesitated to fully take up space or speak with authority. Now I’m stepping forward unapologetically, sharing my ideas and process without overexplaining or shrinking them. The fear hasn’t disappeared, but the clarity has, and that clarity feels like alignment.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Trevon Bryant, an Austin-based real estate agent and the founder of Trevon Bryant Interiors, a boutique design and staging firm. My work sits at the intersection of real estate, interiors, and brand storytelling. I focus on creating spaces that feel intentional, elevated, and emotionally resonant, especially in smaller homes and urban environments. What makes my approach different is that I don’t just think about how a space looks, but how it’s experienced and remembered. Right now, I’m building a brand rooted in strong point of view, high standards, and the belief that thoughtful design can shift how people see themselves and what they believe is possible.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was observant, intuitive, and creatively driven. I paid close attention to environments, details, and how things made people feel. That instinct never left, but for a while it took a back seat to expectation. The work I’m doing now feels like a return to that original way of seeing.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes. There were moments when progress felt slow and direction felt unclear, and it would have been easier to walk away or settle for something safer. What stopped me was the realization that walking away wasn’t actually peace, it was avoidance. Staying required more courage than leaving, and that’s what ultimately kept me going.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
My closest friends would say that integrity, intention, and depth really matter to me. I care about how things feel as much as how they look, and I’m drawn to work, environments, and relationships that are thoughtful and honest. More than anything, I value alignment between my values and the way I move through the world.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m in a calm, intentional environment and not rushing toward the next thing. Quiet mornings, natural light, music playing softly, and the feeling of being present in my body bring me back to myself. Those moments of slowness help me think clearly and reconnect with what actually matters.
