Story & Lesson Highlights with Viki Christman

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Viki Christman. Check out our conversation below.

Viki, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I believe many people today are quietly struggling with identity and worth. In a world that constantly tells us who we should be, how we should look, what we should achieve, and how we should act being true to yourself feels like a quiet rebellion.

Social media, cultural pressure, and fear of judgment push people to wear masks. Behind the filters, the curated lives, and the constant striving is a deep longing: to be accepted as we are. But many are scared to show their true selves, worried they’ll be rejected, misunderstood, or labeled.

What makes this harder is that when someone does choose authenticity, they often face criticism or isolation. It’s easier to blend in than to stand firm in who you are but the cost is heavy: people begin to feel invisible, disconnected, and emotionally exhausted.

I truly believe healing begins when we choose acceptance over judgment and compassion over comparison. If we could stop trying to fix, label, or rank each other and simply see one another this divided world might start to heal.

“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.”
— 1 Thessalonians 5:11 (NIV)

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Viki Christman. I’m a believer, a wife, a mom, a daughter, and an entrepreneur. I was born and raised in Hungary, where I graduated as a Nuclear Environmental Protection Technician. After graduating school, I took a leap of faith and joined an exchange program to work as an au pair in the United States. I had no idea that this journey would lead me to not only grow as a person but eventually become an American citizen.

Coming from a country where opportunities aren’t as accessible, I’ve always admired how in the U.S., you can start something from nothing. The idea that you can launch a business with just a dream and the determination to work hard is truly special and it’s a big part of what inspired me. I’m also amazed by how supportive and collaborative people can be here. The way communities come together to lift each other up is something I deeply appreciate and strive to be part of.

After getting married and becoming a mom, the desire to create something of my own really began to grow. I’ve worked many jobs over the years, and each one has taught me valuable lessons that I now carry into my entrepreneurial journey. Every step along the way prepared me and now is super useful.

I named my business after my daughter, who is now almost four years old. She is the heart behind everything I do my biggest inspiration and motivation. I wanted to build something that not only gives me purpose, but shows her what’s possible when you believe in yourself and work hard.

I’m also a huge animal lover currently living with 7 rescue pets who are very much part of our family! One of my long-term dreams is to buy land and open a sanctuary for rescued farm animals. I’ve always been an empath, which means I feel things deeply whether it’s joy or pain which can make life challenging at times. But I also believe that empathy is a strength, and it’s what fuels my passion to make a difference, both in people’s lives and in the lives of animals.

Right now, I’m working on growing my businesses with a focus on faith, cruelty-free practices, conscious living, and quality. I still have a long way to go, but because it’s a passion project rooted in purpose, it brings me so much joy and fulfillment. Every small win feels meaningful, and I’m excited to keep learning and evolving as I grow.

While I’m focused on building my business, I would never say no to a great job opportunity that aligns with my values and helps me grow. I believe that every experience whether it’s entrepreneurship or employment can be a stepping stone toward becoming the best version of yourself. I’m always open to learning, evolving, and finding new ways to contribute meaningfully to the world around me.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Bonds between people are often broken not by one single event, but by a slow buildup of unspoken words, unmet expectations, pride, and a lack of vulnerability. Misunderstandings, assumptions, and fear of being hurt again can quietly create distance, even between those who once felt inseparable.

What restores those bonds is humility, honesty, and grace. When someone is willing to say, “I was wrong,” or “I miss you,” or even just, “I’m trying,” healing begins. Forgiveness both given and received is powerful. So is listening with an open heart, without needing to be right.

Restoration happens when love becomes more important than ego, and when people choose to see each other with compassion instead of judgment. It’s not always easy, but reconciliation is possible when both hearts are willing.

“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”
— Ephesians 4:32

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could say one kind thing to my younger self, it would be: be kinder to yourself and trust in God’s timing. Life isn’t a race, and you don’t have to have everything figured out right away. It’s okay to make mistakes, to stumble, and to take your time growing into who you’re meant to be.

Don’t be so hard on yourself when things don’t go as planned sometimes those delays and detours are part of a bigger plan you can’t yet see. Trust that every season has its purpose, and that the right opportunities and blessings will come at the right time.

Most importantly, remember to show yourself the same grace and compassion you so freely give to others. You’re growing, learning, and becoming stronger every day, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a cultural value you protect at all costs?
Kindness and compassion.

I hold tightly to the value of treating others with empathy, respect, and grace no matter who they are or where they come from. I believe that how we treat people especially those who can offer us nothing in return says everything about our character.

As a woman of faith, I see kindness not as weakness, but as a reflection of Christ’s love. It’s easy to be kind when it’s convenient, but I believe true compassion shows up when it’s hard, when it’s costly, and when it’s not returned.

In every relationship, business interaction, and community I’m part of, I want kindness to be at the core. It’s not just a cultural value it’s a calling.

Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. When do you feel most at peace?
I have a hard time focusing on just one thing.

Leading up to events like fashion shows, deadlines, I find myself in overdrive hyper focused, yet juggling a hundred things at once. It’s an intense mix of creativity and chaos. My mind races with ideas, deadlines, details, and decisions. While that energy can sometimes be productive, it’s also overwhelming and draining.

Lately, I’ve been learning to slow down and embrace the idea of doing one thing at a time fully, intentionally, and without rushing to the next task in my head. It’s not easy for me, and I’m far from perfect at it, but I’ve noticed that when I do manage to be fully present, I feel the most peace.

I feel it when I give my full attention to a single task whether it’s designing, creating, or just being still. I feel it even more deeply when I’m with my family. The phone goes down, the to-do list fades, and it’s just us laughing, talking, playing. Those are the moments that fill my heart and gives me piece.
