I’d tell him, you are going to be okay. You do not have to have it all figured out right now. Trust the big turns and unexpected pauses, illnesses, and all the other weird stuff. I’d tell her, “You’re doing better than you think.” There were so many times I felt behind or unsure if I’d ever feel stable whether it was emotionally, financially, or just in life.
